We process your personal information to arrange and deliver safety and first aid courses, to issue associated qualifications and to arrange refresher courses so that your qualification doesn’t expire. What information does Safety First South West collect? Within the frame of arranging, delivering and issuing certificates for safety and first aid courses, we will collect information such as your name, date of birth, address, gender, phone number, email address and, if applicable, your bank details. We will hold this data until you no longer require our services. Your data will be collected exclusively for processing your attendance and resulting qualification at one of our courses and the data will be deleted according to statutory requirements as soon as it is no longer needed. You can revoke any future use of your data by emailing us at info@safety-1st.net, quoting your name and date of birth. We will then confirm by email that we have deleted all of the personal data we hold about you. In addition, we may at times video record parts of the training sessions that delegates attend. This is solely to provide evidence to Qualsafe Awards (an ‘Awarding Organisation’) that our trainers adhere to the highest recommended standard of training delivery. Where does Safety First South West save your data? The information we have collected about you is stored locally on our PCs and remotely using an end-to-end encrypted cloud service. The PCs and cloud service are password protected to protect your data from unauthorized access. Does Safety First South West disclose your data to third parties? Safety First South West is registered with Qualsafe Awards. In order to issue certificates, Qualsafe Awards require us to give them some of your personal data. This includes name, date of birth, gender and information about prior learning. This data is entered online through the Qualsafe Awards portal. They may also ask us to provide video evidence to monitor the standard of our training delivery.
